About Navy Pilates
Pilates for real life.
Navy Pilates was founded on a simple idea: Pilates should feel accessible, welcoming and rooted in real life.
No reformers. No intimidating studios. No memberships that tie you down. Just good mat work, good people and a space to move, strengthen and feel good.
Every Navy Pilates class is designed to build strength from the inside out. Expect controlled, intentional movement, strength training, breath work and plenty of encouragement — all within a community that keeps each other uplifted and motivated.
Hi, I’m India
I’m the founder and instructor behind Navy Pilates.
My journey into Pilates wasn’t exactly a straight line. In fact, I started my career about as far from the mat as you could get — I trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant and spent 12 years working in the corporate world, navigating exams, deadlines and everything that came with it.
But eventually, I realised I was over that life. I wanted to wake up feeling excited and motivated about what I was doing, rather than simply counting down to the weekend.
After a short stint living and working in Australia, I discovered hot Pilates and became completely obsessed. I loved the way it made me feel — strong, energised and challenged — and I started to wonder whether this could become more than just something I loved doing.
Then came my son, Navy.
Having Navy was the biggest driver behind finally turning that idea into a reality. I wanted to create a career that gave me more freedom to be present at home with him, while also doing something that made me feel happy, fulfilled and motivated.
And I wanted to become the strongest, fittest and healthiest version of myself — not just for me, but for him too.
That’s where Navy Pilates was born.
Pilates for real life
Navy Pilates is about more than getting stronger physically. It’s about carving out a little time for yourself, moving your body with purpose and leaving class feeling stronger — both physically and mentally.
Whether you’re completely new to Pilates or returning to your practice, you’ll be met exactly where you are. There’s no pressure to be flexible, experienced or “good” at Pilates. You just need to show up.
Bring a mat, an open mind and yourself. We’ll take care of the rest.
